Regional Business Development Manager
We are now seeking a regional business development manager. This means that you will also have relevant sales experience and will be able to actively seek new business through prospecting for new clients. You will also manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favourable relationship with clients.
Overview:
Salary up to £35,000
Minimum of 1 years’ experience preferred
3 month probation period
Located within 30 miles of Southampton
SIA badge preferred
Clean full UK driving license
Able to tender
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Acting as a liaison to senior management and director to keep them up to date with all new business.
Maintaining and developing a wide network of contacts within the FM market place to ensure the company is invited to as many bidding opportunities as possible.
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/principals.
Participate in pricing the solution/service.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.
Requirements:
SIA badge (preferred but not essential)
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Full clean UK driving licence
Under the British Standards BS7858, a 5 year checkable history is required. Applicants must be eligible to work and live in the UK. We will respond to successful applicants within one week of receiving an application.
Job Type: Full time and part time roles available
Salary: Competitive depending on experience + 10% Commission (vehicle supplied for company use)
