National Senior Business Development Manager

We are looking for our next team member to join RG Security as a Senior Business Development Manager.

With experience in sales, we’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about actively seeking new business opportunities through prospecting and tendering for new clients, as well as the ability to manage and maintain a favourable relationship with current clients.

As a key member of the business development team, you will be pivotal to keeping other senior team members up to date on new industry innovations and identifying market trends which can be used to grow the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven business development management or other relevant experience
Located within 50 miles of Southampton
SIA badge (frontline preferred but not essential)
Clean full UK driving license

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

Proven experience in small to medium tender processes
Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and adhere to deadlines
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent time and project management skills. You’re always looking to improve inefficient processes
Security services selling experience is desirable

Under the British Standards BS7858, a 5 year checkable history is required. Applicants must be eligible to work and live in the UK. We will respond to successful applicants within one week of receiving an application.

Job Type: Full time and part time roles available

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year depending on experience + 10% Commission (vehicle supplied for company use)
